This Privacy Policy explains how the Somagiс App (the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. We built Somagiс as a privacy-friendly entertainment app about the art of magic. In short: we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. Everything you do in the App stays on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not ask for, collect, or transmit personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or any account credentials. We do not require registration and there is no user account system.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To make the App work and remember your preferences, the following information is saved locally on your device only (using Apple’s standard on-device storage) and is never sent to us or any third party:

App preferences — background music, sound effects, and haptics toggles.
Favourites — magic tricks you mark as favourites.
Progress — your best magic-quiz score, unlocked achievements, and how many fortunes you have revealed.
Optional display name — a nickname you may type on the profile screen (it defaults to “Magician”). This is for your eyes only and stays on the device.
Onboarding state — whether you have seen the intro screens.

You can erase all of this at any time by deleting the App from your device.

In-App Browser (WebView)

The “Discover” section includes a built-in browser that lets you open curated, publicly available web pages about magic (for example, Wikipedia articles and magic-society websites). When you open such a page:

The request goes directly from your device to that third-party website.
Those websites are operated by others and have their own privacy policies over which we have no control.
They may set their own cookies or local storage within the in-app web view, and may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address and device/browser type) as part of normal web browsing.

We do not inject tracking into these pages and we do not receive or store your browsing activity. Please review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

Third-Party Software

The App uses the open-source Lottie animation library to display visual effects. It runs entirely on your device and does not collect data. Sound effects and background music are bundled with the App and play locally. The App uses Apple’s standard system frameworks (such as WebKit and AVFoundation) on your device.

Children’s Privacy

Somagiс is a general-audience entertainment app and is suitable for all ages. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Security & Retention

Since your information never leaves your device, it is protected by your device’s own security (such as your passcode and Apple’s on-device protections). We retain no data because we never receive any. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored information.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or process your personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export, or delete. You remain in full control of the on-device data described above and can remove it by deleting the App.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this address. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
